Great opportunity: we are hiring a VRF/VRV installation technician in Kendall County, Illinois. The job is on new-build apartment projects. The role involves: • Charge and top up refrigerant (R32, R410A) off the manifold gauges • Check superheat and subcooling to confirm the correct gas charge • Cut, flare and bend copper pipe for the liquid and suction lines • Insulate the suction line with Armaflex nitrile sleeving • Core-drill through brick and concrete walls to route the refrigerant piping • Wire the indoor-to-outdoor interconnecting cable and connect the isolator What we are looking for: • Own set of hand tools, gauges and flaring kit preferred • 2+ years hands-on split and cassette AC installation experience $5,300 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
