Skimming plasterer — Halifax County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a skimming plasterer in Halifax County, North Carolina. You will mix gypsum plaster and cement render to a workable consistency; apply scratch coats and key the surface for the next coat; dot-and-dab plasterboard to walls and ceilings; set up trestles and scaffold boards for ceiling work; dub out hollows and uneven areas before skimming. Ideal candidate: • Proven experience hand-skimming and floating to a flat finish • Willing to work on both new build and refurbishment sites • CSCS card or willing to obtain one Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough.
