Hydraulic crane operator wanted in Borough of Wigan

Vacancy available: we are hiring a hydraulic crane operator in Borough of Wigan, England. The job is on a bridge and infrastructure project. On the job you will handle: • Rig and sling loads using slings, shackles and spreader beams • Climb and inspect the tower crane mast and tie-ins • Keep every lift within the safe working load (SWL) • Watch the load moment indicator (LMI) and stay within rated capacity • Fit the counterweights and check the ground bearing pressure You should have: • Sound knowledge of rigging and slinging • Able to read load charts and lifting plans • Current medical and eyesight certificate 4+ years on the tools preferred.
