Rebar fixer wanted in Wayne County

Join our team: we are hiring a rebar fixer in Wayne County, New York. You will work at a precast concrete yard. You will keep the rebar stacked, tagged and free of mud and loose rust; assemble column and beam cages on the bench; set out starter bars and column dowels for the next lift; form stirrups, links and hooks to the correct dimensions; tie bar intersections with binding wire using a tie hook or pliers; fit mechanical couplers where shown on the drawings. Ideal candidate: • Comfortable working at height and in deep excavations • Confident tying with a tie hook and handling binding wire • Aware of concrete cover and tolerance requirements Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough.
