Day-to-day duties: • Shrink stretched and oil-canned metal with a shrinking hammer • Mix and spread body filler, then block-sand to a smooth contour • Strip out lights, mouldings and trims before repair • Read insurance damage reports and assessor estimates • Check alignment with measuring gauges after a structural pull • Knock out dents and creases using a panel hammer and dolly Requirements: • Confident reading insurance estimates and damage reports • Good eye for panel gaps and body lines • Trade certificate in auto body repair an advantage Full-time, day shift.
