MIG/MAG welder • Knox County, Tennessee

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a MIG/MAG welder in Knox County, Tennessee. The job is in a heavy engineering unit. Your main tasks: • Tack components to the jig and check the fit-up against the drawing • Set the wire feed speed and voltage to suit the plate thickness • Weld in flat, horizontal and vertical-up positions • Bevel and grind the joint edges clean before welding • Load ER70S-6 wire spools and check the drive rolls • Lay stringer and weave beads on fillet and butt joints Requirements: • Steady hand and good eyesight for tight tolerances • ITI in welder trade or equivalent We offer $27 per hour plus benefits.
