Shakeout operator wanted in Baldwin County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a shakeout operator in Baldwin County, Georgia. The job is in the fettling and dressing shop. On the job you will handle: • Fettle and grind castings to remove flash and rough edges • Operate the sand muller and the reclamation plant • Apply mould coatings and dress the mould cavity • Tap the furnace and transfer the metal to the ladle • Shot-blast castings to clean off burnt sand and scale Ideal candidate: • Willing to wear full PPE such as heat-resistant apron, spats and visor • Able to read simple casting drawings and job cards Full-time with occasional weekends.
