Urgent requirement: we are hiring a D6/D8 dozer operator in Claiborne County, Mississippi. The job is at a land-clearing site. Requirements: • Safety awareness around banksmen, trucks and other plant • Knowledge of daily greasing and pre-start inspections • Comfortable working long shifts in dust, heat and uneven terrain Day to day you will spread imported fill in even layers ready for compaction; operate crawler dozers to push and spread fill across the site; push-load motor scrapers during bulk earthmoving; rip hard ground and rock using the rear ripper shank. $5,400 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
