Urgent requirement: we are hiring a bar bender and fixer in Franklin County, Washington. The job is at a precast concrete yard. The role involves lift and land prefabricated cages with the crane and banksman; check bar diameter, spacing and cover before the pour; tie bar intersections with binding wire using a tie hook or pliers; install chairs and bar supports to hold up the top mat; bend bars to shape on a bar bending machine; keep the rebar stacked, tagged and free of mud and loose rust. Requirements: • Sound knowledge of lap lengths, cover and bar spacing • Proven experience as a steel fixer on building or civil sites Full-time with occasional weekends.
