Crane rigger — Van Wert County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a crane rigger in Van Wert County, Ohio. The job is on a high-rise building site. Day-to-day duties: • Select the correct slings, shackles and chains for each load's weight • Read lift plans and method statements before starting • Guide loads through tight openings into their final position • Attach wire rope and chain slings to loads using shackles and hooks • Check sling angles to stay within the working load limit What we are looking for: • Valid rigging / lifting certificate or banksman-slinger ticket • Proven experience as a rigger on construction or industrial sites • Ability to read lift plans and rigging diagrams Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough.
