Great opportunity: we are hiring a slinger signaller in Worth County, Iowa. You will be based in a heavy machinery workshop. You should have: • Ability to read lift plans and rigging diagrams • Proven experience as a rigger on construction or industrial sites Day-to-day duties: • Inspect slings, shackles and eyebolts for wear, kinks and cracks before each use • Tag and quarantine any damaged or out-of-date rigging gear • Select the correct slings, shackles and chains for each load's weight • Carry out daily checks on cranes, hoists and lifting tackle • Rig and lift structural steel, precast panels and machinery into position • Guide loads through tight openings into their final position Rotating shifts.
