Vacancy available: shuttering fixer (West Virginia)

Join our team: we are hiring a shuttering fixer in Monroe County, West Virginia. You will work at a reinforced concrete building site. Requirements: • Able to keep pace with tight pour schedules • Physically fit for heavy lifting and long shifts • Sound understanding of props, bracing and load-bearing Day-to-day duties: • Seal panel joints and hold the correct concrete cover to prevent grout loss • Strike and strip the formwork once the concrete has cured • Fix soldiers, walers and tie rods to resist the concrete pressure • Set up adjustable steel props and falsework to support the slab decking • Watch the formwork during concreting and tighten up any movement • Assemble and align system formwork panels (Doka, Peri, MIVAN) Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough. Six days a week, one day off. Meals and transport allowance provided. Pay around $2,800 per month, based on your experience. Walk-in interviews this week.
