Great opportunity: we are hiring a concrete worker in Lucas County, Ohio. What we are looking for: • 2+ years on RCC and concreting works • Comfortable working at heights and on scaffolds • Physically fit for heavy lifting and long hours on your feet On the job you will handle: • Lay PCC blinding and the damp-proof membrane over the prepared subgrade • Discharge and place concrete from transit mixers and pumps into the forms • Cure slabs by ponding, wet hessian or curing compound for the required days • Erect and align timber and steel shuttering before each pour • Set out levels with a spirit level, line and pins • Screed and level slabs to the marked dead level and falls Full-time with occasional weekends.
