Stainless steel welder — Hunt County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a stainless steel welder in Hunt County, Texas. You will work on a structural steel site. On the job you will handle: • Strike the arc with high-frequency start and control heat with the foot pedal • Feed filler rod by hand while holding a steady weld pool • TIG weld aluminium sections after cleaning off the oxide layer • Inspect welds visually for porosity, cracks and undercut • Run butt, fillet, lap and corner joints to spec You should have: • Able to TIG weld stainless steel and aluminium to a neat standard • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety • Able to pass a weld test on the spot Full-time, day shift.
