Immediate opening: we are hiring a civil works labourer in Randolph County, West Virginia. You will be based on a commercial building project. Your main tasks: • Mix concrete and mortar to the correct ratio, by hand or in a pan mixer • Break out old walls and concrete with a jackhammer breaker • Cure freshly laid concrete by sprinkling water for several days • Clear debris and sweep the slab before the next pour • Pour and spread concrete, then compact it with a poker vibrator • Bend and tie rebar with binding wire for slabs and columns Ideal candidate: • Physically fit and comfortable working at height • Site safety induction or labour card an advantage $2,900 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Meals and transport allowance provided. Rotating shifts. Walk-in interviews this week.
