Lift installation engineer • Queens County, New York

Great opportunity: we are hiring a lift installation engineer in Queens County, New York. Day-to-day duties: • Rope up the traction machine and reeve the hoisting cables • Fill in the service logbook and statutory inspection paperwork • Wire up the controller, encoder and limit switches • Fault-find control circuits with a multimeter and test instruments Requirements: • Working knowledge of EN 81 / IS 14665 lift safety standards • Comfortable working at height and in confined hoistways • Good head for heights for pit and car-top work Rotating shifts.
