We are recruiting: we are hiring a fabrication workshop technician in Polk County, Missouri. You should have: • Comfortable handling and lifting glazed units safely • Knowledge of common hardware systems such as espagnolette and friction hinges You will crimp glazing beads to length and snap them into the frame; fuse-weld frame and sash corners on the welding machine and check the weld seam; glaze the double-glazed units, set the packers and bed the glass square; take site measurements of openings before fabrication; fit EPDM gaskets and brush-pile weather seals along the rails; cut uPVC profiles to size on a double-mitre saw at 45 degrees. 3+ years on the tools preferred.
