Brick mason — Igbo-Eze-South

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a brick mason in Igbo-Eze-South, Enugu State. The job is on a busy housing site. Your main tasks: • Checking every course for height and level with a gauge rod • Spreading and furrowing mortar beds with the trowel • Building the corners (leads) first and racking back the courses • Cutting bricks to size with a bolster and club hammer or angle grinder • Mixing mortar to the right consistency with sand, cement and plasticiser • Brushing the wall down and removing mortar snots as you go You should have: • Reliable timekeeping and able to hit daily brick targets • Comfortable working at height on scaffolding Pay around ₦200,000 per month, based on your experience.
