Canteen cook wanted in Currituck County

Join our team: we are hiring a canteen cook in Currituck County, North Carolina. You will work in a hospital or office canteen. Requirements: • Able to read and follow recipes and dockets • Able to stand for long shifts and work in heat Your main tasks: • Monitor food temperatures and run regular HACCP checks • Plate and garnish dishes for a quick pass to service • Chop, dice and portion vegetables, fish and meat • Marinate meats and prepare curries, gravies and bases • Prepare stocks, sauces and soups from scratch • Manage the tandoor and skewer kebabs 5+ years on the tools preferred.
