Immediate opening: we are hiring a mechanical press operator in Taylor County, West Virginia. You will be based in a sheet metal stamping unit. The role involves run the press using two-hand controls and foot pedal safely; carry out first-off inspection and report rejects to the supervisor; top up the press hydraulic oil and grease the slide ways; clear scrap and offcuts from the die area; set up and change stamping dies and tooling; operate mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic power presses. Requirements: • Able to read engineering drawings and job cards • Can use vernier calipers, micrometers and go/no-go gauges 5+ years on the tools preferred. $4,300 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
