Restoration bricklayer wanted in Meigs County

Join our team: we are hiring a restoration bricklayer in Meigs County, Tennessee. You will be based on a busy housing site. On the job you will handle: • Spreading and furrowing mortar beds with the trowel • Mixing mortar to the right consistency with sand, cement and plasticiser • Building cavity walls and bedding in wall ties and insulation • Raking out and tooling the joints to a struck or bucket-handle finish • Building the corners (leads) first and racking back the courses • Buttering the perpends and tapping each brick down to the gauge Requirements: • Sound knowledge of mortar mixes and bonds (stretcher, English, Flemish) • Reliable timekeeping and able to hit daily brick targets 6+ years on the tools preferred.
