QC inspector — Teton County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a QC inspector in Teton County, Montana. Day to day you will escalate recurring defects to the line supervisor or QA engineer; check visually for scratches, dents, burrs and colour variation; verify dimensions against the tolerance limits on the technical drawing; log batch numbers, lot codes and traceability data; inspect welds, paint finish and surface defects under inspection lighting; operate height gauges, profile projectors and coordinate measuring tools. Ideal candidate: • Confident using vernier callipers, micrometers and gauges • Understanding of AQL sampling and tolerance limits • Able to read engineering drawings and GD&T symbols Part-time with flexible hours.
