Now hiring: we are hiring a reinforcement fitter in Unicoi County, Tennessee. The job is on a commercial tower construction site. The role involves tie bar intersections with binding wire using a tie hook or pliers; bend bars to shape on a bar bending machine; lift and land prefabricated cages with the crane and banksman; form stirrups, links and hooks to the correct dimensions; set out starter bars and column dowels for the next lift. What we are looking for: • Physically fit for heavy lifting and long spells bending and kneeling • Sound knowledge of lap lengths, cover and bar spacing • Able to read reinforcement drawings and bar bending schedules At least 6 year(s) in a similar role.
