Bakery assistant — Branch County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a bakery assistant in Branch County, Michigan. You will work in a bread factory. Day to day you will decorate cakes with icing, fondant and fresh cream; pipe and fill cakes, pastries and cream rolls; keep work surfaces and equipment clean to food-safety standards; proof and fry doughnuts, then glaze them; weigh and mix flour, yeast, water and salt to the day's recipe; grease and clean baking trays, tins and moulds. Requirements: • 2+ years' experience as a baker • Basic cake decorating and piping skills • Able to stand for long hours in a hot kitchen Rotating shifts.
