Port container crane operator • Taliaferro County, Georgia

We are recruiting: we are hiring a port container crane operator in Taliaferro County, Georgia. The role involves: • Watch the load moment indicator (LMI) and stay within rated capacity • Hoist, slew and lower loads smoothly and under control • Climb and inspect the tower crane mast and tie-ins • Work out the load weight and the lifting radius • Carry out pre-start checks on the crane, wire ropes and hook block • Set up the outriggers and level the crane on firm ground What we are looking for: • Sound knowledge of rigging and slinging • Valid crane operator licence or certificate (CPCS, NPORS or local equivalent) • Physically fit to climb ladders and work long shifts Part-time with flexible hours.
