Mobile tyre fitter wanted in Boone County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a mobile tyre fitter in Boone County, Iowa. You will be based in a commercial truck tyre depot. Requirements: • Confident operating a tyre changer and wheel balancer • Punctual and willing to work weekends • Comfortable working outdoors and in all weathers Day-to-day duties: • Replace faulty valves and reset TPMS sensors • Rotate tyres front-to-rear as per the service schedule • Carry out wheel alignment and adjust camber and toe • Fit new tyres onto rims and seat the bead correctly • Handle truck and bus tyres, including split-rim assemblies • Balance wheels on a computerised wheel balancer and fit clip-on weights Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
