Great opportunity: we are hiring a steel erection rigger in Clallam County, Washington. The job is in a steel fabrication yard. Day-to-day duties: • Inspect slings, shackles and eyebolts for wear, kinks and cracks before each use • Coordinate tandem and multi-crane lifts with the signaller • Guide loads through tight openings into their final position • Calculate load weight and centre of gravity before every lift • Carry out daily checks on cranes, hoists and lifting tackle What we are looking for: • Comfortable working at height and in confined spaces • Willing to work shifts, weekends and outdoors in all weather At least 2 year(s) in a similar role.
