Argon welder — Rabun County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring an argon welder in Rabun County, Georgia. You will work at a busy fabrication workshop. Requirements: • Sound knowledge of argon gas settings and tungsten selection • Steady hand and good hand-eye coordination • Can read fabrication drawings and welding symbols On the job you will handle: • Grind, blend and polish finished welds to a clean finish • Tack weld parts to hold the fit-up before the final run • Keep the arc length and travel speed consistent • Strike the arc with high-frequency start and control heat with the foot pedal • Inspect welds visually for porosity, cracks and undercut 5+ years on the tools preferred.
