Urgent requirement: we are hiring a trowel-trade bricklayer in Niagara County, New York. Ideal candidate: • Comfortable working at height on scaffolding • Physically fit for lifting bricks and blocks all day On the job you will handle: • Bedding in air bricks, weep holes and wall starters • Checking every course for height and level with a gauge rod • Buttering the perpends and tapping each brick down to the gauge • Pointing and repointing weathered mortar joints • Forming arches, piers and reveals around openings • Cutting bricks to size with a bolster and club hammer or angle grinder 2+ years on the tools preferred.
