Immediate opening: we are hiring an earthmoving equipment operator in Borough of Oldham, England. On the job you will handle: • Keep the cab clean and oil-free and report defects promptly • Lift and place pipes, manholes and precast sections with the bucket and chains • Inspect tracks, bucket teeth and pins for wear before start-up • Carry out daily greasing and check hydraulic oil, coolant and fuel levels • Excavate trenches for water, sewer and cable runs • Work safely around buried services with a banksman or spotter Ideal candidate: • Physically fit for long hours in the cab on outdoor sites • Comfortable with GPS or laser machine control A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew.
