Furnace operator wanted in Dickinson County

Join our team: we are hiring a furnace operator in Dickinson County, Kansas. You will work in a non-ferrous casting shop. Your main tasks: • Apply mould coatings and dress the mould cavity • Make and bake sand cores for the internal cavities • Melt scrap metal and ingots in induction or cupola furnaces • Cut off risers, runners and gates with a grinder or torch • Tap the furnace and transfer the metal to the ladle You should have: • Knowledge of green-sand and resin-bonded moulding • Keen eye for casting defects during inspection Part-time with flexible hours.
