Great opportunity: we are hiring a bricklayer in Amelia County, Virginia. The job is on a scaffolded high-rise site. You should have: • Able to lay to line, level and plumb consistently • Sound knowledge of mortar mixes and bonds (stretcher, English, Flemish) The role involves cutting bricks to size with a bolster and club hammer or angle grinder; installing damp-proof courses, lintels and cavity trays; pointing and repointing weathered mortar joints; laying bricks to the line, level and plumb. Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough. Pay around $2,700 per month, based on your experience. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Full-time, day shift.
