You should have: • 2+ years' experience as a panel beater or in a body shop • Own basic hand tools (hammers, dollies, files) • Attention to detail and a clean, even finish The role involves strip out lights, mouldings and trims before repair; buff and polish the finished panel to remove imperfections; shrink stretched and oil-canned metal with a shrinking hammer; read insurance damage reports and assessor estimates; measure and set panel gaps for an even shut line.
