Panel welder — Laurens County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a panel welder in Laurens County, South Carolina. You will be based on a structural steel site. On a typical shift you will set the shielding-gas flow on the CO2/argon-mix regulator; read fabrication drawings and weld symbols; control distortion with a balanced welding sequence; weld in flat, horizontal and vertical-up positions; check welds for porosity, undercut and lack of penetration; strike and hold a stable short-circuit or spray-transfer arc. Requirements: • Able to pass a 3G/4G plate test • Able to grind, fit-up and tack independently Part-time with flexible hours. Apply today to start as soon as possible.
