Excavator operator wanted in Grundy County

Immediate opening: we are hiring an excavator operator in Grundy County, Iowa. The job is at a stone quarry. You will break rock and concrete with the hydraulic breaker attachment; excavate trenches and foundations to the marked depths and grade levels; grease the pins, bushings and slew ring at the start of each shift; load trucks with spoil, aggregate and overburden using the bucket; top up diesel, inspect hydraulic hoses for leaks and report defects. Ideal candidate: • Minimum 2-3 years' experience operating earthmoving machinery • Able to read levels, pegs and basic site drawings • Valid heavy equipment / plant operator licence 6+ years on the tools preferred.
