Great opportunity: we are hiring a hoist operator in Tripp County, South Dakota. The job is at a precast concrete yard. Day to day you will follow hand signals and radio calls from the banksman or slinger; watch the load moment indicator (LMI) and stay within rated capacity; grease the slew ring and inspect the wire rope for broken strands; fill in the daily logbook and raise defect reports; climb and inspect the tower crane mast and tie-ins; hoist, slew and lower loads smoothly and under control. What we are looking for: • A good head for heights for tower crane work • Current medical and eyesight certificate • Understanding of hand and radio signals Full-time, day shift.
