Great opportunity: foundry labourer (Texas)

Immediate opening: we are hiring a foundry labourer in Oldham County, Texas. The job is on the moulding line. You will skim slag and dross off the melt before tapping and pouring; make and bake sand cores for the internal cavities; shot-blast castings to clean off burnt sand and scale; maintain crucibles, ladles and furnace linings; check melt temperature with a pyrometer before pouring; operate the sand muller and the reclamation plant. You should have: • Experience working in a ferrous or non-ferrous foundry • Willing to wear full PPE such as heat-resistant apron, spats and visor • Understanding of safe slinging and crane-ladle signalling $5,200 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
