Cnc lathe operator — Highland County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a cnc lathe operator in Highland County, Virginia. The role involves: • Check diameters and lengths against the spec sheet • Change worn carbide inserts and monitor tool wear • Watch the machine through the cycle and clear alarms or crashes • Set tool offsets and establish work zero (G54) • Read engineering drawings and interpret GD&T tolerances • Top up coolant and clear swarf from the bed Requirements: • Able to hold tolerances to ±0.01 mm • Minimum 2 years on CNC lathes with Fanuc or Siemens controls • Experience with carbide tooling and insert selection Full-time with occasional weekends.
