We are recruiting: we are hiring a butcher in Lyon County, Minnesota. You will work in a meat processing plant. You should have: • Able to use a band saw, grinder and sausage filler • Confident knife skills and safe blade handling On a typical shift you will weigh, price and label cuts for the display case; mince meat and prepare keema on the grinder; monitor chiller and freezer temperatures to keep the cold chain; stuff and link fresh sausages with casings; run the band saw to cut cleanly through bone; trim fat, sinew and silver skin off the cuts.
