Tiling assistant — Otsego County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a tiling assistant in Otsego County, Michigan. Day-to-day duties: • Spread adhesive with a notched trowel and back-butter the tiles • Apply a waterproofing membrane in showers and wet areas • Make curved cuts and holes with an angle grinder and tile drill bits • Fit skirting tiles, step nosings and external corner trims • Set out mosaic sheets and trim them to fit the edges Requirements: • Knowledge of waterproofing and substrate preparation • A good eye for level, plumb and even grout lines • Work neatly with minimal tile wastage Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough.
