Immediate opening: we are hiring a toolroom milling operator in Custer County, South Dakota. Day to day you will set spindle speeds and feed rates to suit the material and cutter; run first-off parts and check dimensions before batch production; deburr and finish machined edges with files and emery; mount workpieces in machine vices, clamps and fixtures and check for square; select and fit end mills, face mills and slot drills into collets and arbors. You should have: • Proficient with micrometers, vernier callipers and dial gauges • Safety conscious and comfortable wearing PPE around moving machinery Part-time with flexible hours.
