Now hiring: we are hiring a concrete pump mate in Inverclyde, Scotland. Ideal candidate: • Able to work to tight pour schedules and night pours • Able to read structural drawings and bar bending schedules Your main tasks: • Screed and level slabs to the marked dead level and falls • Cure slabs by ponding, wet hessian or curing compound for the required days • Erect and align timber and steel shuttering before each pour • Float and trowel surfaces with a bull float and power trowel for a smooth finish • Mix concrete to the specified grade (M15, M20, M25) by hand or in a mixer At least 3 year(s) in a similar role.
