RCC mason • City of Kingston upon Hull, England

We are recruiting: we are hiring a RCC mason in City of Kingston upon Hull, England. You will work at a ready-mix concrete plant. You should have: • 2+ years on RCC and concreting works • Sound knowledge of concrete grades, slump and curing periods • Physically fit for heavy lifting and long hours on your feet Your main tasks: • Fix and tie reinforcement bars and mesh as per the bar bending schedule • Cut control and expansion joints at the correct spacing • Screed and level slabs to the marked dead level and falls • Cure slabs by ponding, wet hessian or curing compound for the required days • Patch honeycombs and tie-rod holes with non-shrink grout • Discharge and place concrete from transit mixers and pumps into the forms Six days a week, one day off. We offer £2,650 per month plus benefits. Walk-in interviews this week.
