Stainless steel welder wanted in Marion County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a stainless steel welder in Marion County, Iowa. You will run butt, fillet, lap and corner joints to spec; read welding symbols and joint details off the fabrication drawing; keep the arc length and travel speed consistent; select AC for aluminium and DC for stainless and mild steel; inspect welds visually for porosity, cracks and undercut. Ideal candidate: • Good eyesight for fine sheet-metal work • Can read fabrication drawings and welding symbols • Comfortable working off scaffolds and in tight spaces Part-time with flexible hours.
