Foundry labourer — Howard County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a foundry labourer in Howard County, Arkansas. You should have: • Keen eye for casting defects during inspection • Basic grinding and fettling skills • Willing to wear full PPE such as heat-resistant apron, spats and visor Day to day you will check melt temperature with a pyrometer before pouring; mix and recondition moulding sand to the right moisture; make and bake sand cores for the internal cavities; prepare green-sand moulds and ram the sand into the moulding boxes; tap the furnace and transfer the metal to the ladle.
