Now hiring: we are hiring a cnc setter-operator in Jefferson County, Georgia. Ideal candidate: • Working knowledge of G-code and M-code • Comfortable standing for long shifts and lifting up to 20 kg • Confident with micrometers, vernier calipers and bore gauges Day-to-day duties: • Read engineering drawings and interpret GD&T tolerances • Adjust feeds and speeds to control the surface finish • Watch the machine through the cycle and clear alarms or crashes • Top up coolant and clear swarf from the bed • Set tool offsets and establish work zero (G54) • Write and edit G-code programs at the control Full-time with occasional weekends. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Pay around $4,400 per month, based on your experience. Walk-in interviews this week.
