Overhead (EOT) crane operator wanted in Huerfano County

Now hiring: we are hiring an overhead (EOT) crane operator in Huerfano County, Colorado. You will be based at a shipbuilding yard. On the job you will handle: • Follow hand signals and radio calls from the banksman or slinger • Fit the counterweights and check the ground bearing pressure • Work out the load weight and the lifting radius • Park up the crane, stow the jib and isolate at end of shift • Carry out pre-start checks on the crane, wire ropes and hook block Requirements: • Current medical and eyesight certificate • Sound knowledge of rigging and slinging • Physically fit to climb ladders and work long shifts Full-time with occasional weekends.
