Rigger wanted in Hansford County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a rigger in Hansford County, Texas. You will be based at a container port. Your main tasks: • Inspect slings, shackles and eyebolts for wear, kinks and cracks before each use • Secure loads with turnbuckles, chain blocks and lever hoists • Coordinate tandem and multi-crane lifts with the signaller • Rig and lift structural steel, precast panels and machinery into position • Carry out daily checks on cranes, hoists and lifting tackle • Select the correct slings, shackles and chains for each load's weight Ideal candidate: • Proven experience as a rigger on construction or industrial sites • Comfortable working at height and in confined spaces At least 6 year(s) in a similar role. Six days a week, one day off. Meals and transport allowance provided. Walk-in interviews this week.
