Urgent requirement: we are hiring a kitchen cook in Delaware County, New York. Ideal candidate: • Able to lift heavy stock pots and sacks of supplies • Able to stand for long shifts and work in heat • Willing to work split shifts, weekends and public holidays The role involves: • Cook dishes to order on the grill, fry and sauté stations • Marinate meats and prepare curries, gravies and bases • Taste and adjust seasoning for consistency • Follow cleaning schedules and wash down work surfaces • Chop, dice and portion vegetables, fish and meat • Label and date all prepped ingredients in the walk-in Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough. Full-time with occasional weekends. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. $3,000 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Walk-in interviews this week.
