Gantry crane operator • Barnes County, North Dakota

Now hiring: we are hiring a gantry crane operator in Barnes County, North Dakota. The job is in a warehouse fitted with overhead cranes. On a typical shift you will fill in the daily logbook and raise defect reports; climb and inspect the tower crane mast and tie-ins; carry out pre-start checks on the crane, wire ropes and hook block; grease the slew ring and inspect the wire rope for broken strands; work out the load weight and the lifting radius. What we are looking for: • Physically fit to climb ladders and work long shifts • Understanding of hand and radio signals • A good head for heights for tower crane work Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
